ASTRA creates a variety of research products and publications focused upon the role that government funding plays in advancing our economy, national security, and workforce development. Currently, ASTRA State R&D Sheets have been created for every state and the District of Columbia to educate the general public on how science funding affects the public interest, creates jobs, and raises the standard of living for all Americans.

ASTRA also "mines" data from other organizations and government sources to try to distill key data elements that explain the complicated relationships between science funding and the general welfare.

Users of the ASTRA Tool Kit should feel free to use these materials as they deem fit, since this is part of ASTRA's educational mission. Our slide presentations and research analyses are the basis of legislative testimony, advocacy efforts, and individual policy research.
