ASTRA's Interim Board and Steering Committee is comprised of representative companies, associations and academic institutions. ASTRA organizations represent the vast majority of scientific professional societies, including the American Chemical Society, the American Physical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Materials Research Society, TMS - The Metals, Mining and Materials Society, the AVS - American Vacuum Society, SPIE, IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries, the National Association of Manufacturers, the Semiconductor Industry Association, and many additional membership groups as well as industry and academe. Key corporate supporters include Agilent Technologies, DuPont, General Atomics, General Motors, General Electric, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lucent, Rockwell Collins, and Texas Instruments. Universities include the California State University System, Florida State University, Kent State, Northern Illinois University, Rensselaer Polytechnic, Stanford, and Texas State University.
